Hardware

IncoPOS is developed as a universal system that supports a wide range of peripheral devices. Most hardware drivers are built directly into the software, eliminating the need to install additional external programs for communication.

Here is a detailed list of the supported hardware:

1. Computers and Operating Systems

Personal computers and laptops: The software runs natively on Windows (including Windows 10 and newer), macOS, and Linux (Debian-based distributions such as Ubuntu and Linux Mint).

• Touch screen terminals: IncoPOS is optimized for touch screen operation, which is commonly used in restaurants and supermarkets for faster service.

2. Printing Devices and Fiscal Systems

•Fiscal devices: Various brands and models of fiscal printers are supported (e.g., Datecs, Daisy, etc.), with the system also managing fiscal memory.

•POS printers (non-fiscal):Used for printing kitchen orders, intermediate receipts, or goods slips (e.g., Posiflex, Bixolon).

•Label printers:Used for printing barcodes and price labels on paper in various sizes.

Cash drawers: These can be connected directly to printers, with IncoPOS sending a command to automatically open them upon completion of a sale.

3. Scanning and Weighing Devices

•Electronic scales: Connected directly to the POS for automatic weight recognition during sales.

•Labeling scales: Remote scales in stores (e.g., Bizerba, Avery Berkel), to which IncoPOS can export product data.

•Combined devices:Scanner-scale devices that both scan barcodes and measure weight.

4. Payment Terminals and Displays

• Bank terminals: Integration with payment processors (such as Viva Wallet, Datecs Pay, etc.), where the amount is automatically sent to the terminal.

•Customer displays: External displays are supported to show customers the product name, price, and total amount. The software also allows the use of a second monitor as a customer display with the store’s logo.

5. Mobile Devices

•Android devices: Smartphones, tablets, and specialized mobile POS terminals (e.g., SunMi) used by waiters and mobile sales representatives.

•Mobile printers: Portable printers are supported and can connect to mobile devices via Bluetooth.

Connection Methods

Peripheral devices can be connected to the system via:

• Serial port (COM/RS232)

• USB port

• Local network (LAN/Ethernet)

• Bluetooth (mainly for mobile devices and printers)
