Sales

The Sale function in IncoPOS is the main operation for conducting commercial activity. Through it, revenues are recorded, warehouse item levels are reduced, and the necessary financial documents are issued.

1. Types of Sales Screens

• Standard “Sale”: This is the most comprehensive screen, offering the widest range of options. It is suitable for more complex businesses (such as warehouses), where operators may need to manually enter or modify prices and discounts for each line item.

•Touch Screen: Designed for fast sales in supermarkets, restaurants, and bars. It uses large buttons, grouped items, and images, and is optimized for operation without a mouse and keyboard.

•Point of Sale: A simplified version of the standard screen, intended for quick service to walk-in customers. The header section (partner, location) is “locked” to avoid repeated entry, allowing the operator to focus on fast item scanning.

2. Core Functionalities of the Operation

Inventory Management: Upon completing the sale, the system automatically deducts the sold quantities from the respective warehouse (location).

• Item Identification: Items can be added through manual search (by name or code), by selecting buttons, or via barcode scanner. The system also supports weighted barcodes for items measured on a scale.

• Pricing and Discounts: Allows the application of different price groups for specific partners, adding percentage discounts per line or for the entire document. If a promotion is set, the system automatically applies the promotional price.

Multi-Currency Support: IncoPOS allows prices and totals to be displayed simultaneously in two currencies, which is useful when the retail location accepts more than one currency.

3. Payments and Documents

• Payment Processing: Supports multiple payment methods – cash, card (integration with banking terminals), voucher, or bank transfer. The system automatically calculates the change due.

• Document Issuance: Directly from the sales screen, a fiscal receipt, items receipt, or invoice can be printed. It is also possible to combine multiple sales into one consolidated invoice at the end of the month.

• Transformation: An already recorded sale can be transformed into another document (for example, a return or an invoice), saving time by eliminating the need to re-enter data.

4. Specific Applications

Stages: A sale can pass through an intermediate “Order” stage, where items are sent to kitchen printers or preparation monitors.

Mobile Commerce: Through the IncoPOS Android app, sales can also be performed by mobile sales representatives, with data synchronized in real time via IncoCloud.
